I got it for cymbals, and it does the thing really well. Tried it on some other things with mixed results. Vocals, kick and snare worked reasonably well, guitars not so much. Overall this has levelled up my productions, clearing up cymbal mud and giving the drums a more elegant sound.
I get excellent results quickly. Easy to use. I didnt understand how to use the EQ match.
Not low on CPU but I understand we have only 1 overheads in a mix section. Didnt use other drum forge product like the DF Q2. if takes to much CPU, it will be complicated to use Clarify and Q2 in the same session.
PROs: Clean interface, easy to use, excellent results.
CONS: Not low on CPU. EQ Match takes time to configure.

why you buy this one? Simple: because you cant decide on how bright you want the cymbals to be. So, once more you let the magic happen by the minds of the DF team!

My first use of DF-Clarify 2 has been to clarify the lead vocal on mixed music tracks. I did not have access to the original recorded tracks and was able to use this to nicely bring out the vocal as needed. It didn't additionally pull up other instruments in a negative way or add harshness as another clarifier did. I'm looking forward to applying it in other uses. Well done! Thank you.

This plugin outguns others I paid substantially more for. Intuitive, and the bottom line, this really works!
It’s doing something, but the analyzer is useless, doing wierd things and the paramters are not understandable.
This plug-in is awesome. It’s an absolute time saver when it comes to taming your overhead and spot microphones. Love it!!!!
While this not an end all be all plugin, it is very useful. It takes away cymbal "trashiness" and can add some nice air up top. It does not fix HH's that are a bit too intense in the OH's. Overall, quite a nice plugin, very useful. I would definitely recommend.
A very subtle enhancement to your cymbals, most notable when your mix gets loud and high end information starts to compete. It won’t ruin your source material, or you personal eq decisions.
Jjst finished a song and got this the day before I did the final mix. Added it to my drum track on Ableton(MIDI,Drum Rack) and this gave it so much more dynamic range. I plan on trying it out on vocal tracks and guitar soon. It is a good buy.
