FAQ

How do I create an account?
Visit our account registration page to create an account.

How do I access my account?
Visit our sign-in page to access your account.

Do I need Drumforge I to use an expansion pack?
Nope! Unless explicitly expressed on the product page, each expansion pack is a heavily modified rendition of the original raw samples. Creators will change and mold the sounds so far, and sometimes add their own sounds, that we do not require customers to own a previous version to buy it.

Why don't my past orders show up in my account area?
Any order made prior to July 13th, 2015 will not appear in your account area. This is by design, and we have kept track of exactly every order internally. If you need help downloading an older order, you must contact support by emailing thedrumforge@gmail.com.

How do I download my order?
Your order is available for download in the following places:

  • The final "Thank You" page will contain a link to download your order.
  • An email will be sent to you containing a link to download your order.
  • Your account area will contain a list of orders each with a link to download your order.

How do I unpack / unzip / download / install Drumforge I - Ultimate?
Drumforge I - Ultimate comes as a multi-part RAR file (see WinRAR). There are three parts, and all three parts are necessary to have a fully working pack. If you only have one or two parts of the full multi-part file, you will not be able to access any of the contents; all three parts are required to access the contents. Download all three parts and then unzip Part 1. Part 1 will automatically use parts 2 and 3 to create a single folder containing the contents of the pack. Do not unzip Part 2 or Part 3 by itself as it will overwrite files unnecessarily.

When will I get my order?
All orders are instant. If you don't receive your order immediately, you may have entered your email address incorrectly or your email server's spam filter has blocked your order email from arriving to your inbox. Check with your internet service provider or email provider to see what happened.

Where do I find the WAV files for the library?
WAV files are located in the Kontakt folder. Even if you do not have Kontakt, this is where you retrieve the WAV files.

Why aren't there Drumagog's for the Cymbals?
Drumagog is a very limited sampler that does not support enough features for us to properly map our cymbals in its format. Unfortunately, due to these limitations along with the limitations of Trigger 2, our cymbals are only available for Kontakt and WAV files.

My library keeps timing out in demo mode?
Drumforge libraries are built for Kontakt Full, not Kontakt Player. The difference between these products is that Kontakt Player requires a special license in order to use a library with it (because the player is free). We have not made a deal with Native Instruments and therefore do not have these licenses. You must have Kontakt Full in order to use Drumforge as it was intended, however, the demo mode for Kontakt Player allows you to use the library for fifteen minutes. It is possible to get a great sound in just 15 minutes, save and re-open and then print your work to audio.

Where is Drumforge Standalone?
It is being developed.

Why are cymbals only available in Kontakt format?
Other samples have not yet made it possible to properly replicate a cymbal as it can be performed, virtually. The user experience would be very frustrating to use Cymbals on Drumagog or Trigger, for example. This is why we provide cymbals in the best possible user experience currently, Kontakt.

Didn't you use to have individual drum instruments for sale? How do I buy individual drum instruments?
We are no longer supporting or selling individual drum instruments.

My download attempts ran out, what do I do?
For any order before July 13th, email thedrumforge@gmail.com.
For any order on or after July 13th, login to your member account.
If you do not have an account, create one using the same email address you ordered with.
If you don't create an account, we won't have a way to continue to support your order.
