Not a single drumforge plugin I purchased sits in plugin purgatory… they all get used extensively on every project. DF-Smack is no exception. Allows me to quickly get the sounds I’m after on every shell and even on the whole drum bus. I can’t recommend it enough.

Not sure why I purchased this. I wanted my drums to smack like my favorite records. I have a processed drum kit and a unprocessed drum kit. It really only worked on the unprocessed kit just for a subtle difference and not pleasing. Im probably not using it right, im still currently trying to put this $50 plugin to use

Sounds great with great presets for canvas. The interface is pretty lackluster and clunky, an afterthought, seemingly.
Pretty hoggy on CPU but everything is now days. Will use this for sure. Worth every penny.
It’s not often you come across a plugin that’s simple, and gets the job done quick. I’m all about efficiency, so I don’t like wasting time dialing things in. This DF-Smack does what it says and it’s definitely something I’ll be using moving forward.

Definitely packs a punch to my drum samples, I use drum forge and program the drums midi, and this plug-in adds volume and makes them hit hard, really like the plugin, it definitely makes the drums sound better in my opinion
I don’t have to use but a few plugins now, this is next level for drums. Makes it easy to get a great drum sound and believe me, it use to take a lot of work to get them sounding huge and punchy.
I'm very impressed about this plugin. It really adds smack to drum tracks and what I did not know at the time I bought it, it pushes bass tracks as well. I used it in all my last mixes and it's really working fine as a secret weapon. Cool!

As a home studio drummer / hobbyist engineer, the plug in immediately took my drum mix where I’ve been fighting to get it. As someone who’s always looking for that one plug in to change the game, DF-Smack actually did!
It's a great plugin - very versatile and the GUI is great. The delay compensation at launch is not correct in Pro Tools, however. So running it in parallel doesn't work unless you put it directly in line and just use the mix knob. Great purchase, still.
This plugin does amazingly bring out the smack in drums in a musical way. It's take little effort to dial something amazing in seconds with the Smack and Excite knobs. Great plugin with excellent results!
The second you turn the knobs on the DF-Smack, you can hear your drums come to live. It adds a clear and detailed saturation to all components and makes your track pop!!
