This eq is GREAT! It it such a huge time saver. Sure, the EQ moves are premade... BUT, they are genuine moves that i or any engineer would do. SUPER solid plugin!
For $12 I thought I’d give this EQ plugin a try. I have a Plugin Alliance subscription, which has amazing EQs, but the simplicity of DF-Q2 has made it my go to EQ. With the turn of a few knobs I can sculpt the sound to fit the mix without changing the fundamental sound. Highly recommend DF-Q2!

When the pandemic happened I had a lot of time on my hands being home. I had built a small room in my garage to practice my drums. One mic after another it became a small home studio where now I track a lot of drums. Fast forward, I spent some time on different SSL channel strips and for the most part I wrapped my head around it enough to get by. But I’m a drummer first, I checked out DF-Q and was blown away on how as a drummer I know what I want them to sound like. And now with DF-Q2 and the new interface how it’s laid out it makes more sense. I don’t have to spend hours trying to figure out a EQ frequency to get a sound. I just let me ears tell me what sounds good and how my drums should sound! Thanks Drum Forge for letting me a drummer first
