DRUMFORGE DAVID BENDETH v1.0.2

March 30, 2026

Before you do anything, read these instructions completely. There's a right way to do this and a wrong way - and the wrong way means re-downloading the entire library all over again, and nobody wants that.

V1.0.2 is live, and here are the improvements since V1.0.0:

Changelog

[1.0.2] rev. 1

[General]

○ Update factory maps.

[Song Builder View]

○ Fix random crashes when adding or removing blocks.

[1.0.2] rev. 0

[General]

○ Fix issues when changing presets.

○ Fix “*” always showing in preset names; it should only appear when the state is

dirty.

○ Update preset name rendering to avoid overflow.

[Drum Kit Presets View]

○ Add “Save As” and “Overwrite” buttons.

○ Do not allow deleting or overwriting factory presets.

[Mappings View]

○ Add secondary note selection for Tip CC and Shaft CC.

[Mix View]

○ Do not sort channel strips by articulation primary note.

[1.0.1] rev. 1

[Mappings View]

○ Fix recall issues.

[1.0.1] rev. 0

Fix drum kit preset navigation.

[Kit View]

○ Update kick assets.

[Mappings View]

○ Fix persistence issues.

○ Hide the delete icon for factory maps.

○ Add an “Overwrite” button.

○ Fix secondary note loss when swapping drums.

○ Fix MIDI-learned notes being lost when swapping drums.

○ Mark the session state as dirty when changing mappings.

[1.0.0] rev. 1

[General]

○ Fix factory Drumshotz folder lookup when the user changes the library location during installation.

[Mappings View]

○ Remove vendor from mapping display names.

[1.0.0] rev. 0

[General]

○ Fix Windows online installer.

[Settings View]

○ Add “Quick Start” and “User Manual” buttons.

[Song Builder View]

○ Automatically create a song part when adding a new groove if no song parts

exist.

How to Update

The update runs through the Drumforge Updater, which was installed automatically alongside the sampler.

Follow these steps exactly:

Updating from your DAW

  1. Open the Drumforge David Bendeth plugin window.

  2. Click the Drumforge David Bendeth logo at the top of the interface to access the Settings view.

  3. Click the LAUNCH UPDATER button in the bottom bar to open the updater.

  4. Save your session and close the DAW before proceeding to ensure a successful update.

Updating from your Desktop

  1. Open the folder where you installed Drumforge David Bendeth.

  2. Double-click the Drumforge David Bendeth Updater executable.

  3. Select "Update Components" and make sure all boxes are ticked.

  4. Run the update.

  5. That's it. No full reinstall. No re-downloading the library.

First-Time Install?

If you haven't installed the Drumforge David Bendeth Updater yet, or you're doing a completely fresh install, grab version 1.0 from the original download link sent to your email. After that first clean install, all future updates go through the updater.

Having Issues?

Reach out to the Drumforge support team (email support@drumforge.com). We'll walk you through it manually and make sure you're up and running.

Going Forward

Every future update to Drumforge David Bendeth - and all Drumforge plugins - will follow this same process. Once you've got it down, you've got it down for good.

Get updated and be creative.
