I used it right after the purchase on an album that's still in the making, both snare and kick samples,and I can safely say it's time to give my attention to the other instruments.
I own a lot of the drumshotz but this is one I still find myself coming back for for reinforcement. Used them on my bands 1st single and I'm mixing them with the Tom & Kick Vault and using the piccolo snare for my band's next single. Just pure killer sounding samples that have something im looking for when I mix.

This pack takes the approach of providing simply great samples of real drums, beautifully recorded and expertly processed, with separate samples for close mic, room, overhead, and a combination of the three.
The sound of the one hit is cool, but this does me no good when applied to my drum kit. Multiple samples at each velocity was what I was looking for, and didn’t get. Waste of money for me.
Great sounding samples
Carson and Grant have changed my view of one shot samples with this pack. Adding the separate mics allow me to blend everything perfectly to fit my mix. 10/10 would recommend this pack.

Killer samples!
When I imagine what heaven would be like upon arrival, I used to picture a choir of angels singing my name. But now I picture all of Carson, Grant, and Matt’s Drumshotz being played in succession on a playlist in God’s iTunes folder. I’m even getting these Drumshotz for my Grandmother to set up so that when someone rings her doorbell, they hear a 250bpm blast beat made out of these samples. Right now, I’m training my German Shepherd to respond to different one shots in this pack instead of traditional commands. I love the files, they sound amazing, and they’re great for the whole family!
I’m a massive fan of having one-shots (even in the case of something that would be mapped, like a Kontakt instrument, having the WAVs are essential to me picking it up). This Drumshotz library was even cooler for having the “blend” sample included for easy use and preview.
These samples sound great and have a very natural and raw tone but still very modern and big as well as a nice variety to suit a range of genres.
I would like the messenger kicks sound but this is okay, Matt is awesome
