CUTTING EDGE SAMPLER TECHNOLOGY
Drumforge has given a lot of thought to recreating human-like drum performances with the sampler and has come up with a few exciting ways to achieve that. Starting with samples taken of both the left and right kick drum beaters on each kick along with our Foot Switching algorithm that allows you to program your kick parts with a single midi note while having the left and right foot samples alternate based on speed. We’ve also provided control over the volume level of each individual velocity layer for each articulation so you can adjust for drum-fill realism. For those who want to further enhance the performance over the velocity and gain of samples, there is a velocity interpretation curve so you can make the difference between the loudest and softest hits more or less dynamic or anything in between. Finally, Drumforge Matt Greiner features an excellent and time-tested smoothing algorithm in between successive hits to make drum programming sound more like real drum performances.

Drumforge Matt Greiner provides amazing dynamics and control on every shell and cymbal. The interface is very stable and the built-in effects are high-end quality. I love the variety of crash and china cymbals! The only drawback is that the snares have a very similar character and sound to most of the standard/default snares in other libraries. Anyway, DF MattGreiner is a must-have product!

UI could be better
This library is really just a blast to use. The dynamics with the velocities are great, the newer and older recordings for kit pieces are top notch, and man a great variety of kit pieces to choose from. The mixer section is a big plus, how many routing options, the one shot loading, and how much more daw like and simple its set up is great. My only wishes is maybe a bit more stability cause I do experience crashes more often with this guy and honestly the other drumforge drum libraries as well.
A small wish is an option like kontakt to unload samples im not using and only have ones loaded I am. The limit voices option it has can be useful, but not as specifically useful as an option like I mentioned that kontakt offers. Maybe an option for smarter timing/velocity humanizing inside the plug in as well.
Overall one of my favorite kits to use for how fun it is, how great it sounds, and how much they offer me in terms of routing. 8/10 (Would go 10/10 with some quality of life and optimization updates).
Great sounds! Although it does use quite a bit of cpu power, wouldnt reccomend on low end systems.
Great sounding drums would recommend just play or mix for days
I try to look more for great sounding tools that aren’t suited to specific genres, and while Drumeforge Matt Greiner is incredible sounding and does the job well, it’s got a rather specific metal sound that may not be suitable for other genres. Like I said, great sounding, very well laid out GUI, and easy to work with. However, just not quite my cup of tea, and I believe there to be better options for my own productions and workflow.

Drumforge Matt Greiner sounds fantastic and is incredibly easy to use. The drums are powerful, punchy, and mix-ready right out of the box. I also love using it for layering with other drum sounds—it blends really well and adds extra weight and character to a mix. Highly recommended!

Drumforge Matt Greiner is an excellent choice. For more organic Progressive Metal or Post-Metal styles, it works better as a layer rather than the main drum source.

Great kits. Great atriculations (both hands etc...). Great presets. It's perfect for that modern metalcore sound (no surprises there haha). Definitely recommended!

I love the drums sounds and cymbals everything sounds amazing i've had a couple issue with the plugin closing cubase everytime when i use some parts within the plugin not sure if increasing my buffer size help from crashing I'm running it on a Macbook pro
This package has incredible samples. Perfect tool for song writing. Tons of EQ and control to get the right sound in the mix. One of the few products to sound good at any bpm. I’ve gone as high as 200bpm and there was no robotic feel.
