DF-XCITE 2 v1.0.1 UPDATE INSTRUCTIONS

Before you do anything, read these instructions completely. There's a right way to do this and a wrong way - and the right way takes about thirty seconds.

V1.0.1 is live. Here's what's changed since V1.0.0:

How to Update

The update runs through the DF-XCITE 2 Updater, which was installed automatically alongside the plugin.

Follow these steps exactly:

Updating from your DAW

1. Open the DF-XCITE 2 plugin window.

2. Click the question mark icon at the top of the interface to access Settings.

3. Click the LAUNCH UPDATER button to open the updater.

4. Save your session and close your DAW before proceeding to ensure a clean update.

Updating from your Desktop

1. Open the folder where you installed DF-XCITE 2.

2. Double-click the DF-XCITE 2 Updater executable.

3. Select "Update Components" and make sure all boxes are ticked.

4. Run the update.

5. That's it. No reinstall. No drama.

First-Time Install?

If you're starting fresh, grab version 1.0 from the original download link in your email. After that first clean install, all future updates go through the updater.
